Brooklyn Center for the

A bit closer to West Midwood, the BCBC offers wonderful performances
just a few blocks from the neighborhood on the Brooklyn College

Brooklyn Children's Museum:

Founded in 1899, this was the first museum developed just for
children. Its hands-on exhibits are a treat for kids of all ages.

The Brooklyn Museum, located near Grand Army Plaza at 200 Eastern
Parkway, Brooklyn, New York 11238-6052 (Telephone: 718-638-5000)
is definitely one of finest museums in the City, to say nothing
of the world! Its parking lot, which is shared with the Botanic
Garden, is around the corner on Washington Avenue.

closest branches to West Midwood are the Cortelyou branch at 1305

New York Aquarium:

The New York Aquarium - 'Where the City meets the Sea' - is located
along the boardwalk in Coney Island. The exhibits and events will
keep the whole family engaged.

The Brooklyn Cyclones, our local Minor League baseball team and
a Class A Affiliate of the New York Mets, opened for business
in Coney Island's Keyspan Park in the summer of 2001. Located
next to the boardwalk, it's a great place to enjoy a summer afternoon
