The 70th Precinct is responsible for all of Community District 14, including West Midwood.

Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Precinct, 175 Lawrence Avenue.

New York City Department of Buildings:

The website provides information on every building
in the City, procedures for obtaining building permits, etc.

New York City Department of Finance:

The Department of Finance website provides access to property tax information on every property in the City, recorded documents, such as mortgages and deeds, and parking violation information, including the location of towed cars. If you don’t know your house’s tax block and lot you can find that also.  You can also pay various City charges on line, including property taxes and water and sewer charges.
